Fall House Tour!

While filming this video I also had some of our favorite fall recipes in the crock-pot and I wanted to share those recipes with you! Both of these will warm up your soul and will also make your house smell fall-licious :).

Warm Homemade Apple Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6-10 apples

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Peel and cut the apples

  • Place in crock-pot with cinnamon, sugar and water.

  • Cook on high for 3-4 hours or until apples are tender

  • Whisk to stir until smooth

Best served warm over ice cream or for bonus points you can mix a couple of spoon fulls in your pancake batter and fall-ifiy your breakfast!

Cheeseburger Soup

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3-4 Medium Size Potatoes peeled and diced

  • 1 cup of diced carrots

  • 3 cups chicken broth

  • 1 pound ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • 16 ounces of Velveeta cheese cubed

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place diced carrots and potatoes in a large crock-pot and pour the chicken broth over them.

  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-6 hours

  • 1 hour before serving

    • Brown turkey and drain any excess grease

    • Cook bacon to your desired crispiness

    • In a separate pan add flour and butter, whisk until golden brown. Whisk in milk until mixed thoroughly.

    • Add milk, flour, butter mixture, Velveeta and turkey to the crock-pot and stir. Cover and let cook 30 more minutes

  • Stir in bacon and serve on a crisp fall day!
